On a warm winter morning, fueled by hot chicken-on-chicken burrito action, Landeen heads out to Tucson Rifle Club for another match. Hoping to settle things down a little bit, he has adopted a mantra for this day, a mindset, if you will, of smoothness. Flow like water, see the sights, call good shots, be more zen, etc. Will it help? Will he actually shoot ALL the targets he is tasked to engage? Watch and see on the latest episode of Make Ready.

“Did I Make Ready?”
Yes, for the most part I did. I stuck to the game plan of “smooth”… for the most part. I remembered stage plans, and my positioning was decent. A thing happens around the last or second to last stage where my energy starts to wither. I need to figure out a way to keep that focus and a good sight picture approaching the end of a match. Unfortunately energy drinks make me crazy, which is probably not a good thing at a gun range.
